Here’s how to make it feel effortless and truly valuable — for both you and your clients :) 1. Start with the why Don’t jump straight into product talk. A fairly common thing we hear from photographers is: “My clients just don’t want printed products.” But here’s the truth — more often than not, it’s not that they don’t want them. It’s that they’ve never been shown the value of them. They’re used to digital galleries. They expect USBs. That’s what the industry has trained them to expect. But just because it’s all they know, it doesn’t mean that’s all they want. Ian tells the story of being in a seminar with a number of very wealthy Americans. When he tried To View More >>

Following the opening of The Papatuanuku Series we spoke to Tessa Williams from Moemoea Collective about the idea behind the work, and the launch itself. "Man, it really was just the most incredible evening! The atmosphere was on fire, with everyone who attended blown away, not only by the photos but the launch itself. I knew that the majority of the 150 who attended had never had the pleasure of going to an art launch, so I did everything I could to ensure they had the same experience as a regular gallery-goer, in the hopes to start them on their own art journey." Matted prints are proving to be a great sales tools within the professional photographer community, and since Sue Bryce introduced her 'reveal wall' sales technique, photographers have been jumping on this for their own studios. Our Studio Boxes and Slip-in mats are designed so you can stock up with products, and order your Queensberry prints separately. The prints will only take a few days to arrive depending on whether you want us to colour correct or not … or of course you could print your own. Either way, you'll be able to schedule a sales consultation/photo To View More >>

Here's what people like most about Workspace: When they make a sale there's nothing to do. No need to liaise with the buyer, collect the money, order the product or deliver it. All you have to do is read our notification email. :) People quite like the 10th of the month too, when they get another email to say the money has hit their Paypal account. But occasionally money gets returned to us because someone hasn't "accepted" the payment. If you don't claim your money you'll get an email from Paypal like the one in the graphic below. Normally all you have to do is click the "Claim Your Money Now" To View More >>

We’re truly grateful to the hundreds of photographers from around the world who took part in our Bragging Rights promotion. Here, in no particular order, are the people whose work we chose to celebrate the love and laughter, vibrant cultures, dramatic environments and compelling stories we see every day in the books and albums we make... Ed Clayton  is a wedding photographer based in the UK who also does destination weddings. Ed sent us two amazing weddings. The first had a candle-lit reception in the Painted hall at the Old Royal Naval College - complete with fire display To View More >>

We are about to release a new version of Photojunction that will no longer support Macintosh pre-Intel PowerPCs, which were discontinued in 2006. This is necessary so that we can upgrade the Photojunction development environment, which no longer supports PowerPCs. If you are running a Windows PC you won't be affected. If you're running an Intel-based Mac you won't be affected either. All Macs have been Intel-based since 2007, so if your computer is newer than that you're fine. If you're not sure you can check by going to About This Mac under the Apple menu. We have announced that this is coming To View More >>
